Post-doc in Biophotonics
Deadline: March 10, 2014
In particular, we intend to develop detection and imaging techniques devoted to perform functional imaging both in living cells and living organisms. The aim is to characterize new tools for cell labeling in particular under physiological conditions, such as electrical activity stimulation. New labeling and detection methodologies will be developed in order to correlate spatial information of molecular targets with functionality.
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Thesis degree in physics, engineering or biology;
- PhD in physics, biology or engineering;
- fluent english spoken.
For more information please see the IIT website
1 Post-Doc Opening in Biophotonics at Q*
Deadline: April 15, 2013
Please contact Alberto Diaspro: firstname.lastname@example.org
A post-doc position is available on a research program in the context of biomedical imaging. In particular, we intend to develop detection and imaging techniques devoted to perform lifetime and vibrational spectroscopy on molecular states both in living cells and living organisms.

1 PhD Position at Q*
Deadline: July 15, 2013
Please contact Dr. Karim Murr: email@example.com
Your theory work will cover the broad theme of cavity quantum electrodynamics to be performed in collaboration with the experimental group of Prof. Rempe at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Garching, Germany.
Keywords of our research include: quantum optics, photonics, quantized light fields, optical resonators, laser cooling and trapping of atoms, optimal control, decoherence, cavity optomechanics, out of equilibrium quantum dynamics. We have positions either in computing or purely theoretical or both. You are welcomed to propose any idea you would like to pursue.
Physics - Quantum mechanics
Early stage researcher or 0-4 yrs (Post graduate)
First Stage Researcher (R1)
You will be an integral part of a research group representing the cutting edge of research in the quantum electrodynamics of fundamental systems in Europe, see for instance www.ccqed.eu.
Please send you application to Dr. Karim Murr (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Your application must include:
1) Cover letter (one page, two at most). Explain: Why do you want to join our group? What would you like to work on? Do you prefer numerical or analytical work, or both? Are you interested in a topic not listed in our description, if yes which one? Do you have specific requirements?
3) Copy of bachelor and master transcripts and certificates
